French is an official language in twenty-nine countries and is used in the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. It is also the fifth most spoken language in the world with at least 300 million people who use the language. Studying the language at NCSSM allows students to build their communicative competence and learn more about the diverse people who use the language.
